George M. Hall

George Martin Hall died Friday, November 01, 2002 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 3 at Lawrence Drive Baptist Church in Macon with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, Al Sihah Shrine Center, 222 Mecca Drive, Macon, GA, 31205-3147.

Mr. Hall was born in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Navy and was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. He was a 32nd degree Mason, having been a Mason for over 25 years. He was a member of the Tyrian Masonic Lodge in Warner Robins and the Jeffersonville Masonic Lodge. He was a Shriner and was a member of the Houston County Shrine Club, the Scottish Rite, Al Sihah Shrine Center, and the Royal Order of Jesters. He had served as chaplain at the Al Sihah Shrine, where he was a member of the patrol unit. He was honored as Shriner of the Year for 2001 by the Al Sihah Shrine Center. He also worked at Houston Lake Country Club and was a member of the Central Georgia Seniors Golf Association. He was a member of the Lawrence Drive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maye Hall, and parents, George Henry Clemmons Hall and Ocia Celia Hall.

Survivors include his daughter, Sherry Malone, VA; daughter, Sheila Meadows (Danny), Macon; Sheryl Winn (Steve), Warner Robins; brother, John Hall, Warner Robins; sister, Louise Wilson, Lilburn; grandchildren, Lisa Malone, VA; Lee Malone III, Lawrenceville; Kevin Meadows, Macon; and great-grandson, Caleb Malone, Lawrenceville.

McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
