George Nichols Delk

George Nichols Delk, 69, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2006. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, in First Baptist Church of Warner Robins. Interment will be private. Memorials may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice 103 Westridge DR Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Mr. Delk was born on July 30, 1937 in Lafayette, Louisiana. A veteran of the Coast Guard Reserves, George was the owner of Decorative Services, where he was a master stone mason. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Warner Robins. His father, Howard Delk, and his brother, Don Delk, both preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Chryl Grace Delk, Bonaire; children and their spouses, George Jr., and Jeania Delk, Hiram; Sue and Tom McQueen, Mableton; Chris and Kathy Delk, Lizella; mother, Dorothy Delk, Plant City, FL; stepchildren, Russell and Meg Grace, both of Bonaire; sisters and brothers-in law, Kitty and Veighn Dangerfield, Plant City, FL; Myrna and Chet Mahon, Cashiers, NC; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
