George Gardner walked through the Gates of Heaven on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the age of 70.
Born in Sarasota, Florida, George was a member of the Class of 1965 at Northside High School, Warner Robins. He joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country for four years and went on to retire from National Exterminating after 25 years of service. George was a man who loved God and used his faithful devotion in becoming a charter member of Northview United Methodist Church. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren and fishing.
His father, Ernest Raymond Gardner, and his sister, preceded him in death.
George's memory will forever be treasured by his devoted wife of 49 years, Sandra Lynn Gardner of Warner Robins; children, Michael and Vickie Gardner, both of Warner Robins; mother, Gertrude Gardner of Perry; grandchildren, Miranda Hendrix, and Kyle Brown; and Kyle's father, Kelly Brown.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Northview United Methodist Church. Burial will be at a later date.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of George Gardner to the American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Road PMB # 359, Macon, GA 31210 or to your favorite charity.
