Georgia Kelly

Georgia Marie Rich Kelly, 66, entered into rest on Thursday, December 1, 2011.

Mrs. Kelly was born on March 8, 1945 in Burt, Iowa. She retired from Anchor Glass Company, having worked in production. An avid gardener, she enjoyed fishing and volunteering her time for the needs of others, most importantly her grandchildren. She was a member of Calvary Way Community Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Mike Ray Kelly; daughter, Kathy McGuire; parents, Walter Theodore Rich and Faye Louise Johnson Rich; and sisters, Lorraine Mitchell (Larry) and Sandra Girodat.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Michael Ray Kelly (Robyn), Kathleen; daughter, Jenny Atkins (David), Tifton; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Bud Rich (Cathy), Maple Grove, Minnesota, Bill Rich (Carol), Portland, Oregon, Gary Rich, Balsam Lake, Wisconsin and Rita Polson (Mark), Lake City, Florida; brother-in-law, Jim Girodat, Minneapolis, Minnesota; and son-in-law, Greg McGuire, Perry.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Free Point Church of God in Perry, Pastors J. Ryan Herrington and Leslie Albritton officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry.
