Gerald D. "Jerry" Schultz, 73, entered into rest on Thursday, June 25, 2009.
Mr. Schultz was born on August, 15, 1935 in Crookston, Minnesota. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Air Force where he developed his love for the B-52 Bomber. Upon leaving the Air Force he went to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma to work on the ECM for the B-52. He followed the B-52 to its current home in Warner Robins and later retired in 1993. Sports were his other love, especially, the Oklahoma Sooners, Golf and Softball.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Cathy Schultz, Fort Valley; children, Greg Schultz (Teressa), Macon, Gail Voth (Doug), Powder Springs, Barry Schultz (Jana) and Darlene Schultz, both of Warner Robins; step-children, Ronald Cofield, and Troy Cofield Jr., both of Warner Robins and Lisa Boley (Tommy), Fort Valley; six grandchildren, Michele Riggs (Eric), Megan Voth, Kelli Schultz, Ciera Schultz, Josh Schultz and Richard Taylor; and two great grandchildren, Abbey and Lillie Riggs.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 28, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2009 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
