Gerald "Jerry" Howard Holland

Gerald Howard "Jerry" Holland, 75, entered into rest on Monday, December 30, 2013.

Jerry was born on July 14, 1938 in Jackson, Georgia to the late Howard Holland and Edna Kate Peterman Holland. He graduated from Warner Robins High School. Jerry was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Georgia. After many years of dedicated employment, Jerry retired from Georgia Power Southern Company. Jerry loved and adored his family, including his fur babies, Daisy, Rusty, Precious, Leslie, and Buttons. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, his son, Jeff Holland, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Joanne Leslie Holland, Jonesboro; children, Susan Hayes, Minnesota; Katie Smith, Alabama; sister, Fay Holland Ray (Eugene), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Connie Borden, Justin Burgreen, Maggie Hayes, Leslie Hayes, Katherine Douglas, Alison Douglas, Katelyn Smith; great grandchildren, Trent Burgreen, Tara Burgreen, Brock Burrow, Trent Borden, Emma Kate Miles, Katie Beth Douglass, and McKinzlee Douglas.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
