Gilbert Harrison Gann

Gilbert Harrison Gann, 80, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 26, 2011.

Mr. Gann was born on September 10, 1931 in Forsyth, Georgia. A faithful servant of the Lord, he pastored many churches. He retired from Calvary Temple Church of God. He attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church at the time of his passing. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, enlisted during the Vietnam era and Korean conflict. He was a man who dearly loved and was truly devoted to his family. His parents, William Harrison Gann and Fanny Mae Coulon Gann, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife of sixty one years, Dorothy Helen Gann, Forest Park; children, Deborah Garrett (John), Jerry Gann, Larry Gann, and Doug Gann (Delaine); grandchildren, Natasha Ritter (Shane), Estonna Garrett, Steven Garrett, Robert Gann, David Gann, Derek Gann (Kristen); great grandchildren, Aubrey Ritter, Kael Gann, Eli Ritter; siblings, Mildred Harne (Delton), Charles Gann (Ruth), Betty Jarrell (Jack); and so many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, October 31, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 31, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association- GA Affiliate, One Corporate Square, Atlanta, GA 30329.
