Gisela Bailey

Gisela Bailey, 75, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2011.

Ms. Bailey was born on May 5, 1936 in Pfungstadt, Germany. She retired as a chef from Robins Air Force Base after twenty five years. Ms. Bailey was a member of First Baptist Church of Centerville and the Tabitha Sunday School Class. She loved gardening and adored her cats. Her parents, Ludwig and Sofia Huxhorn, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Pastor Morgan (Ritta) Bailey, Bessemer, Alabama, John Edward Bailey, Dunwoody, and daughter, Lisa (Eric) Phillips, Byron; sister, Anneliese (Hans) Thomasberger; brother, Ludwig (Irene) Huxhorn; two nieces; grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathan, and Erica Bailey; and former husband, Bibb Morgan Bailey, Sr.

Visitation will be Monday, June 6, 2011 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
