Glenda Nell Hartnett

Glenda Hartnett of Warner Robins, 86, passed away at home on Sunday, January 19, 2025. 

Janice was born on May 21, 1938, in Ochlocknee, Georgia to the late Wallace and Ethel Singletary. Glenda was raised as a Southern farm girl. She was proud of the farming and gardening she was able to do throughout her life and continued doing so into her senior years. She was also a military spouse who took care of her family while moving from Georgia to Alaska, Florida, Maine, Japan, Germany and finally settling in Warner Robins. She raised 3 daughters, and 5 grandchildren, and was active in her 5 great-grandchildren's lives. She was a Christian and she would always say to us that everything is in God’s hands. 

In addition to her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hartnett; daughter Joy Carroll; and brothers and sisters, Louis (Dorothy) Singletary, Willis (Sarah) Singletary, Eugene Singletary, Grace (Earl) Box, Louise (Bill) Donnelly. 

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Carla Clark (Charlie), Karen Archie (Glenn), and Donna Hartnett; grandchildren, Jessica (James) Holloway, Rebecca Kidd, Seth Dawson, Mandy (Todd) Ruark, Andrew (Victoria) Clark, Tommy Archie, and Taylor Kelly; great-grandchildren, Landon and Jaxson Ruark, Lilliana and Marceline Holloway, and Rachel Clark along with several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Glenda will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
