Glenda Marie Pope

Glenda Pope, 54, entered into rest Monday, March 7, 2011.

Ms. Pope was born on January 3, 1957, in Macon, Georgia. She was a member of First Independent Methodist Church. Glenda was a self employed Beauty and Sales Consultant, selling Mary Kay Cosmetics. She was a passionate and loving mother and grandmother. Her favorite times were those spent with her family. Glenda was an active member of the Chariots of Light Motorcycle Club and ABATE of South Carolina. Her parents, Chester Glenn Pope and Virginia Meadows Pope, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved children and their spouses, April Holmes Davis (Joshua), Williston, South Carolina; Angela Holmes Lopez (Vincent), Bonaire; granddaughter, Gabriella Marie Day, Bonaire; and siblings, Sandra Hudson and Levi Pope, both of Eatonton.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011 at First Independent Methodist Church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to First Independent Methodist Church, 107 Imperial Church Road, Eatonton, Georgia 31024.
