Glenda Sue Cisco, 87, entered into rest on Thursday, July 11, 2024.
Sue was born on June 17, 1937, in Cobbtown, Georgia to the late Carl and Alma Jarriel. Being the wife of Alfred Cisco, a career member of the United States Air Force, she traveled to many places, including several countries in Europe, over a period of 23 years. The family moved to Warner Robins, Georgia in 1976. Over the years and at several churches, Sue taught Sunday School for over 25 years and helped organize and work with youth groups and young girls until such a time that she was physically unable to teach any longer. Her passion was loving and teaching children over the years. She was a longtime faithful member of Mikado Baptist Church.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Alfred Cisco; children, Angela Yawn (Mark) and James Cisco (Emily); grandchildren, Hannah Wallace (Rick), Jesse Yawn (Mariana), Daniel Cisco and Philip Cisco; great-grandchildren, Savannah Wallace, Wyatt Wallace, Stella Wallace, and Mila Yawn; siblings, Joyce Kessler (Gene), Carleen Alford, Bernie Jarriel (Edith), Don Jarriel (Opal), and Keith Jarriel (Theresa); along with many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
At the family’s request, all services held will be private. Glenda will be laid to rest at Centerville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Sue Cisco to the Mikado Baptist Church Building Fund at 6751 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216.
