Glenn Ronald "Ronnie" Black, 61, entered into rest on Monday, September 26, 2011.
Mr. Black was born on September 8, 1950 in Cordele. He had attended Warner Robins High School and was of the Baptist faith. An avid deer hunter, he founded Kill 'Em & Grill 'Em Hunt Club. His memberships included the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Freedom Darts, and Freedom Wellston Motorcycle Club. Ronnie was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherri Black Carter; father, G.W. Black; step-father, Theodore R. Cassel; and mother, Velara Cassel.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of eleven years, Sue Weaver Black; children, Timothy Lawrence (Jennie), Warner Robins, and Aimee Lawrence, Bonaire; sister, Kimberly Cassel Pritchett (Chris), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Brion Mashburn, Jr., Waylon Lawrence and Lucas Lawrence; and many nieces and nephews who loved him very much, including Gillian Pritchett and Brett-Lucas Pritchett.
Visitation will be Friday, September 30, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2011, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Fred McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the donor's favorite charity.
