In the early morning hours of Thursday, June 22, 2017, Gloria Clements, 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior.
Gloria was born on April 4, 1941 in Cordele, Georgia to the late Christopher and Willie Jacobs. She was the office manager at Little House Self Storage for many years until her retirement. Gloria was a member of Central Baptist Church. She enjoyed music by Elvis Presley, going to the mountains, reading, and sewing. However, her greatest joy came from time spent with her beloved family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Emory Clements; grandson, Scotty Alexander; siblings, Wesley Jacobs, Evelyn Moore, and Beulah Porter.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Thomas "David" Clements (Cheryl) of Pineview, Deborah "Carol" Alexander of North Carolina, Elizabeth "Ann" Cook (Mike) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Jason Clements (Kimberly), Jennifer Parks (Steven), Stacey Alexander, Joshuah Cook, Michala Cook, Kaitlyn Cook, Skylar Cook, Abbigail Cook; 9 great-grandchildren, and special companion "Presley".
Visitation with Gloria's family will be Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017 in the Chapel of McCullough. Mrs. Clements will be laid to rest at 3:00 p.m. in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Cordele.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Gloria Ann Clements to Central Baptist Church, 1120 Lake Joy Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088 or Heartland Hospice, 200 Northside Crossing, Macon, GA 31210.
