Glover N. Dixon

Glover N. Dixon, 91, passed away on September 30, 2005 at Regency Hospital. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 3, 2005 at Southside Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, October 2, 2005 from 3 until 5 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1040 S. Houston Lake RD Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Mr. Dixon was born in Hazelhurst, Georgia on January 27, 1914. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church, as well as the Shriners. Mr. Dixon was also a 32ú mason. He worked with Robins Air Force Base as a Fire Chief. His parents, Tobias and Sally Lanier Dixon preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Dixon, Warner Robins; daughters, Vivian Dixon, Massachusetts; Rosemary Dixon, Massachusetts; sons, Bob Dixon, Macon; Jim Dixon, Toccoa Falls; Tom Dixon, Byron; Larry Dixon, Macon; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
