In the late evening hours of Friday, February 24, 2017, Grace Woodrum, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior.
Grace was born on December 8, 1926 in Eustis, Florida to the late Thomas, Sr. and Lucille Griffin. At a young age, she along with her family, moved to Ocilla, Georgia, before moving to Warner Robins where she lived most of her life. Grace was a loving and devoted homemaker who counted it as a blessing to be able to stay home and raise her three children. She enjoyed working with her hands, whether she was cleaning, cooking, sewing, or working in the yard; she always had a smile on her face. Grace loved the Lord and faithfully served Him by letting His light shine through her. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, her loving husband, William R. Woodrum, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Neil Woodrum of Warner Robins; Alan Woodrum (Lucille) of Jones County; Denise Johnson (Jay) of Rossville; grandchildren, Andy Woodrum; Wesley Woodrum; Amanda Sneed (Jeremy); Chad Woodrum (Christy); Lindsey Woodrum; Hannah Johnson; Jeremy Johnson (Faith); Will Johnson (Paige); 13 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Jewel Freeman of Ocilla and Doris Cowart of Tifton.
Visitation with Grace's family will be Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough. After the service, Grace will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
