Grace Dearing Quarles

Grace Dearing Quarles passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. She was 80 years old.

Grace was the daughter of the late Howard H. and Ouida Dearing. She was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on February 7, 1944. A resident of Warner Robins since 1952, Grace was the beloved wife of the late Robert. L. Quarles, Jr. She had an unfailing love for her family and cherished every single moment spent with them. She was without a doubt, the best mother-in-law and “Nana.” Grace also loved doing arts and crafts, gardening, entertaining with her friends, and collecting seashells from the beach.

In addition to her parents and husband, Grace was preceded in death by her son, Danny Hudson; and sister, Nolda McPeek.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, David, and Dana Hudson, both of Warner Robins, and Tod Quarles (ReGina) of Dacula; as well as grandson, Russ Quarles, and Zack Alexander (Jennifer); great-grandchildren, Kallie and Dustin; brother, Donald Dearing of St. Simons; nephew, Andrew Dearing; and niece, Kira Huyett.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.   A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.  Afterward, Grace Dearing Quarles will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Grace Dearing Quarles to the Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry St., Macon, Georgia 31201, or to Georgia Hospice Care at 645 Tallulah Trail, Ste. 202, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
