Grace Sasser Jones

Grace Sasser Jones, 90, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 7, 2012.

Ms. Jones was born on June 21, 1921, in Bonaire, and was of the Methodist Faith. After earning her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Georgia College, she worked a total of thirty-six years for the Houston County Board of Education, retiring as a sixth grade teacher from Shirley Hills Elementary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Webb Jones; parents, Arthur Lee Sasser and Eula Bittick Sasser; sister, Farise Snowden; and brothers, Lee Sasser and John Carey Sasser.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughter, Judy Head (Emmett), Bonaire; grandchildren, Kimberly Webster Crouch (Rob) and Suzanne Webster Johnson (Mark); and great-grandchildren, Rylee Crouch, Kaydee Crouch, Will Johnson and Meg Johnson.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 10, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Bonaire United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Bonaire United Methodist Church, Reverend Kenny Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Bonaire Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105, or Susan G.
