Grover S. Bell, Jr.

Grover S. Bell, Jr., 82, entered into rest on Monday, March 19, 2012.

Grover was born on July 21, 1929 in Boynton Beach, Florida. He was a member of Bible Baptist Temple in Warner Robins. With pride and honor, MSgt Bell, served in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1970. Subsequent to his military retirement, he retired in 1989 from Robins Air Force Base where he worked as an Aircraft Mechanic. An avid aircraft enthusiast, he enjoyed all aspects of flying small aircraft. Grover was also a Master Mason while living in Michigan. His parents, Grover S. Bell, Sr., and Harriette Thompson Bell, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Evelyn J. Bell, Bonaire, Georgia; children, Susan VanHemert (Kris), Kennesaw, Georgia; Grover S. Bell, III (Debbie), Greenville, South Carolina; Danny W. Bell (Janice), Hampton, Georgia; sister, Lyda Timm, Lakeworth, Florida; brother, Bill Bell, Mason, Ohio; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until service time at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Memorials may be given to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
