Van (Harvey) L. Adams, 62, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 18, 2010, after his battle with cancer.
Son of Harvey and Lorraine Adams of Douglas, Georgia, Van is survived by his loving wife Ann, his brother Al, and his daughter Candice. A loving proud father and grandfather to so many, Van cherished and loved his family, each and every one, as his very own. Raised in Douglas, Georgia, Van then served his country with honor in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970 in Vietnam. He made his home and raised a family in Columbus, Georgia as a business leader in the community. In the latter part of his life, he worked with the passion and zeal we have all come to love; providing for his loving wife Ann, and caring for each of their families; leaving a legacy of a driven man with a passion for people and making a difference in everyone's life he came across.
Join us in memorial and celebration of Van Adams on Saturday, July 31, 2010, at 1:00 pm in Warner Robins, Georgia, at McCullough Funeral Home, 417 S Houston Lake Road. We all take comfort in knowing Van is at home with all of those that preceded him and above all with his Heavenly Father.
