Hazel A. Thomas

Hazel Thomas 90, entered into rest on Friday, January 14, 2011.

A longtime Warner Robins resident, Mrs. Thomas was born on May 17, 1920 in Chester, Georgia. Her love of children led her to open a Day Care Center which she operated for many years and to being the Preschool Coordinator at Evergreen Baptist Church. Hazel was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband of 51years, Harley F. Thomas, Sr., daughter, Sandra F. Flannagan, brother, Alfred M. Bryan, sister, Jewell M. Bryan, half-sister, Beatrice Fountain, and daughter-in-law, JoAnn J. Thomas.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Harley F. Thomas, Jr., Maryville, Tennessee; granddaughters, Christine E. Thomas, Maryville, Tennessee and Stephanie E. Flannagan, Warner Robins; son-in-law, James E. Flannagan, Warner Robins.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 17, 2011 at Green Acres Baptist Church, Pastor Johnny Ellison and the Reverend Joe Senter officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to World Vision Ministries, P. O. Box 9716, Dept W, Federal Way WA 98063
