Hazel E. Crook

Hazel E. Crook, 89, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 6, 2014.

Hazel was born on April 24, 1924. She devoted herself to the raising of her children, the making of a home, and to providing encouragement to all who met her. Hazel was a much-loved charter member of Evergreen Baptist Church and will be remembered as a warm, loving, happy and giving person. Her parents, Ozie and Gladys Key Davis; brothers, Clyde and O.W. Davis; and sister, Rosalee Hogg, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband of sixty-eight years, Charlie Fredrick Crook, Warner Robins; her loving children, James Crook (Mary) of Byron, Floreice Mathis (Leroy) of Warner Robins and David Crook (Susan) of Kathleen; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brother, Vernon Davis (Dorothy) of Oglethorpe, Georgia; sister, Kathleen Eubanks of College Park, Georgia; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 8, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to your favorite charity.
