Hazel Mccannon

Hazel McCannon, 79, entered into rest on Sunday, May 29, 2016.

Mrs. McCannon, a native of Oglethorpe County, lived in Warner Robins for sixty-two years. She was the daughter of the late Emma Lou Graham and the late Alvin Howard Graham of Comer. She was a very dedicated and active member of Second Baptist Church and loved serving God and others through the Kitchen Ministry for twenty two years and a member of the Brenda Lanier Sunday School class. She was also a former member of the Board of Directors at Happy Hour Workshop. Her beloved husband of thirty four years, Warren McCannon, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Warren K. McCannon of Warner Robins; sister Sue Goodson of Columbus, Louise Thomason (Jack) of Ila, Catherine McCannon (Marshall) of Hull and brother Mike Graham (Nancy) of Comer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Afterwards, Mrs. McCannon will be laid to rest in Carlton Cemetery in Carlton, Georgia at 5:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Hazel McCannon to Happy Hour Workshop, 716 Young Avenue Warner Robins, Georgia 31093 or Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 2504 Moody Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
