Perry

Heidi Marie Clamp, a vibrant and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 5, 2024, in Perry, Georgia. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on December 18, 1969, Heidi was raised in Warner Robins, where she graduated from Northside High School in 1988. During her high school years, she excelled in track and softball, showcasing her athletic talent and determination.

Heidi’s life journey took her around the world. She embraced married life and began a family, living in Japan before returning to the United States. She pursued her education with passion, earning a bachelor’s degree from Macon State College in 2003 and a master’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2015. Her career as a project manager with Boeing began in 2008 in Warner Robins, a role that later took her to Norman, Oklahoma, before she ultimately returned to Warner Robins.

Heidi was known for her remarkable resilience, independence, and organizational skills. She poured her heart into her family, especially her grandson, with whom she cherished building forts and creating lasting memories. An avid cyclist, Heidi participated in the Ride Across Iowa cycling tour, covering 424 miles, and enjoyed staying active through exercise. Her love for llamas and her gift for entertaining guests were just a few of the many ways she brought joy to those around her.

She attended The Assembly at Warner Robins because her faith was a fundamental part of her life. Heidi’s caring nature, attention to detail, and warm spirit will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey “Buddy” Romines.

Heidi is survived by her children, Chris Ross (Catherine Rainford) of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Caity Ross (Jordan Janflone) of Marietta, Georgia; grandson, Ronin Janflone; mother, Bonnie Laseter; brother, Joel Romines (LeeAnn); nephews, Colton Romines and Cameron Romines; step mother, Bonnie Romines; step father, Bill Laseter; and step-siblings, Tammy Harden (Kelly), Billy Laseter, Jr., and Wendy Laseter.

Heidi’s legacy of love, strength, and joy will continue to inspire and be cherished by those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
