Helen H. Coefield

In the early hours of Tuesday, December 29, 2015, Helen H. Coefield, 86, died peacefully, surrounded by her family.

Helen was born in Forsyth, Georgia in September of 1929. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School's Class of 1946, in Thomaston, where she lived until moving to Warner Robins in 1955. Helen worked at Robins Air Force Base as a personal specialist, and retired after many years of dedicated service. She was a member of Northview United Methodist Church. Helen was a loving mother who will be missed by her beloved family.

Her parents, Lindsey P. and Rosa Phillips Hickman; brother, Julian Hickman; and sisters, Frances Hickman and Mary Smith, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, J.C. Coefield, Jr. (Gail) and David Coefield, all of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Neal Carpenter (Jessica) Russell Carpenter, and Michael Carpenter; as well as, three great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2015 in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Helen H. Coefield to The Methodist Home, P.O. Box 2525, Macon, Ga 31203.
