Helen Loretta Black

Helen Loretta Black, 81, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2007.

Mrs. Black was born on February 15, 1926, in Athens, Georgia. She worked in food served operations at the Army & Air Force Exchange Service at Robins Air Force Base. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and a fabulous homemaker. Her husband, J. C. Black, an infant child, and her parents, Dewey W. and Ollie Bell Brown Patton, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Earl “Danny” Black, Macon; Darrell Black, Knightdale, NC; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, March 8, 2007, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
