Henry Cecil Meadows

Henry C. Meadows, 85, entered into rest on Saturday, March 19, 2016.

Henry was born on August 25, 1930 in Fitzgerald, Georgia to the late Henry and Jesse Meadows. He served his country for two years in the United States Army and dedicated thirty five years as a civil service electronics technician at Robins Air Force Base. Henry was a long time member of the Church of Christ in Montezuma. He enjoyed farming and raising cattle but mostly enjoyed the time spent with his family.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of thirty six years, Ione Steele Meadows; son, Phillip Meadows (Carolyn) of Warner Robins; stepchildren, Floyd Rowe (Molly) of Alamo, Tennessee, Charlene Staley (Tony) of Warner Robins, Richard Ray of Perry, Mark Ray of Perry, Ava Hines of Huntsville, Alabama, Deters Stone (Daniel) of Ft. Valley and Jose Rubio, III (Nery) of Albany; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and sisters, Ruby Ray and Mary Thomaston.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 22, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Afterwards, Henry will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Henry C. Meadows to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
