Henry F. "Buddy" Jackson, Jr.

Buddy Jackson, 69, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014, after a brief illness.

Mr. Jackson was born on November 10, 1944 in Houston County, Georgia. A well-known and respected home builder in Houston County and surrounding areas, Buddy owned and operated P.J. Jackson Construction where he built homes for many years. Buddy was a 1962 graduate of Warner Robins High School, a member of the National Rifle Association and a charter member of the Warner Robins Homebuilder Association. Buddy enjoyed fishing, hunting, working and spending time with his grandchildren. For the last twenty years, he enjoyed an annual trip to Alaska for salmon fishing.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty years, Joyce Jackson; children, Dwayne Jackson, London, England; Angela Jackson, David Jackson, both of Warner Robins; Derrick Jackson, Centerville and Danielle Wisekal (Brian), Perry; grandchildren, Jayson, Natalie and Jarod Wisekal; brother, Deryl Jackson (Susan), Blairsville; sister, Cheryl Anderson (Robert), Kathleen and brother in law, Thomas McKleroy, Warner Robins. His parents, Henry and Mary Jackson, Sr. and sister, Angela McKleroy, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be Monday, August 25, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
