Henry was born March 8, 1952, to Henry Otto Sees, Sr., and Jeanette (Milks) Sees, while Henry Sees, Sr, was stationed in Germany. Upon his father’s retirement from the service, Henry grew up in Altmar, and Rome, New York.

Upon graduating from Melbourne High in 1970, Henry was the recipient of an ROTC scholarship to the Florida Institute of Technology, where he received his degree in electrical engineering. While attending college, Henry married his high school sweetheart, Teresa (Cress) Sees. After graduating, Henry served his country in the Army, receiving the rank of Lieutenant before leaving the service in 1978. He and Teresa then moved to Warner Robins, Georgia, where he initially worked for ARINC.

In 1983, he and Teresa expanded their family with the addition of their daughter, Heather. Henry continued to work as a contractor in his field of electronic warfare, working with several defense contracting companies before moving to the employ of Southwest Research Institute. Henry was the site Director at the Warner Robins Southwest Research Institute office, and worked in the RAFB EWAISF lab.

Henry was a member of the Association of Old Crow's, and was the recipient of the 2019 Anton D. Brees Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his development of the Army Tactical Mobile System during the Vietnam War. Henry and his family were members of Central Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was always willing to help others in any way he could, to show the love of Christ.

Henry was preceded in death by both of his parents, as well as his sister, Elizabeth Sees. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Teresa Sees; his daughter, Heather (Brent) Cavanah; and grandchildren Caleb, Grace, and Joshua. He is also survived by a sister, Barbara Sees, mother-in law, Julia Turner; and a nephew, Steven D’Andrea, both of New Jersey, as well as a brother, Richard Sees, of Florida.
