Herbert "Jim" Miller

Herbert "Jim" Miller, 84, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014.

Jim was born on February 27, 1930 in Los Angeles, California to the late James Henry and Edna Altman Miller. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force Reserves as a Master Sergeant during the Korean War and retired as Fire Chief at Robins Air Force Base. Jim attended Oakland Baptist Church.

His beloved first wife, Pansy Manice Edwards Miller; and parents, preceded him in death.

Jim's memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Patricia Ann Cagle Miller of Ripley, Tennessee; children, Bonnie Jo Higdon (Jody) of Macon, Melinda Jo Bozeman (Harold) of Cochran and Mary Jo Smith (Zack) of Warner Robins; four granddaughters, Sandy Tout (Matt), Amanda Jo McCranie (Matt), and Lindsey Jo and Amy Jo Bozeman; great-grandchildren, Mattison Tout, Sammi Jo and Kylie Jo McCranie, and Kinsley and Avy Tout.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Oakland Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Reverend Mike Winfree will officiate.
