After a courageously fought battle with breast cancer, Hervella La’Trice Ingram-Adams passed away, with her family at her side, at Midtown Emory Hospital on November 4, 2023, at the age of 61. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 11:00 A.M., at McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins, Georgia, with Elder Jane Thomas presiding. The burial will be at Woodland Cemetery. Hervella was born on March 1, 1962, in Fort Valley, Georgia. Her family moved to Perry, Georgia, when she was a toddler, and as a young girl, she became a member of Saint James CME. Mrs. Ingram-Adams matriculated through the Houston County Schools System and graduated from Perry High School. After graduating, she explored various jobs, searching for her niche in life, and stumbled on the love of educating and nurturing young children, which became the profession that she loved, mastered, and ultimately retired from. Mrs. Ingram-Adams was a primary paraprofessional in Houston and Peach counties that teachers and administrators respected and loved for her relentless dedication to the education profession. Hervella loved traveling, visiting various beaches, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Veronica Denise Ingram; father, Hervia M. Ingram, Sr., and her mother, Catherine H. Ingram. She is survived by her husband, Dwayne Adams; daughter, Catherine Mariah Johnson; brother, Hervia M. Ingram, Jr.; nephew, Corwin Ingram; two great nieces; Sarai and Trinity Ingram; and a host of other relatives, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
