Hollis Samuel McRae, 91, passes away on Saturday, October 15, 2011.

Mr. McRae was born on September 19, 1920 in Zamar, Mississippi. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force from September 1940 to November 1945, where he served in World War II. In 1946, he began working as a Quality control Inspector for Brookley Air Force Base, Mobile, Alabama and also at Robins Air Force Base in 1965. He retired on September 27, 1975. Green Acres Baptist Church has been his church home since 1966. He was a member of the Toulmin Lodge # 875 F & AM in Mobile, Alabama. His wife, Mamie �Patsy� Louise McRae, parents, Willie Robert and Mattie Elizabeth McRae, and brothers, William A. McRae and Aurthur Edward McRae and Dr. Donald McRae preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Daryl James McRae (Linda), Elmwood, Georgia and Jack Hollis McRae (Barbara), Miami Beach, Florida and granddaughter, Jennifer Hymson Sharpsburg.

Visitation will be Monday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18 at Green Acres Baptist Church. Interment will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, Alabama with military Honors.,
