Hontas M. (Pokey) Clouse

Hontas M. (Pokey) Clouse, 75, died Monday, May 6 at Summerhill Nursing Center. Services will be held at 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 9 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight, Wednesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Clouse was born in Palmersville, TN. She was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base where she had been an Inventory Management Specialist. A resident of Houston County since 1958, she was a member of the Church of Christ on Corder Road. Her parents, Roy McClain and Chiron Williams McClain, and four brothers, Roy McClain, Marcus McClain, Carter McClain and Fred Cooper McClain preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Patsy C. Hutto, Kathleen; sons, Gale Eugene Clouse, Jr., Olympia, WA; Larry S. Clouse, Warner Robins; sister, Ruth Elaine McClain, Memphis, TN; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
