Howard Frank Smith

Howard Frank Smith, 78, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2005. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, July 11, 2005, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Committal service will be held privately at The Georgia Veterans Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia. Per his request in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund, 250 South Davis Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088, in his memory will be greatly appreciated.

Mr. Smith was a native of Alton, New Hampshire born to the late Arthur E. Smith and Ann McCormack Smith. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Upon retirement from the United States Air Force he made his home in Georgia. He moved to Warner Robins in 1977 and retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Technical Representative for the Foreign Military sales in 1995. He was a past member of the Elks Club, the Old Crow Society, The American Legion, Society of Logistic Engineers, and D.A.V.

He will be missed by his surviving wife, Martha C. Smith, Warner Robins, Georgia; daughters, Madra Giegerich, Dublin, Georgia; Marla Tone, Warner Robins; Leah M. Smith, Warner Robins; grandsons, Michael A, Tone, Jr., Cleveland, Georgia; Benjamin E. Giegerich, Dublin, Georgia.
