Howard J. Taylor

Howard J. Taylor, 78, died Monday, July 14, 2003. Services will be held on Thursday, July 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Taylor was born in Porterdale, GA, but grew up in Summerville, GA, before moving to Warner Robins in 1951. He was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base, where he worked in the Gyro Shop. He was a member of Second Baptist Church and the Fisher of Men Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie L. Taylor; parents, Francis M. and Janie Warren Taylor; daughter, Ronda Griffin Burge; and grandson, Ted Howard Griffin, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughters: Gail Taylor Hair, Conyers; Debbie Taylor Cleghorn, Warner Robins; and Vicki Taylor Baugham, also of Warner Robins; grandchildren: Tracy Griffin Pratt, Todd Thomas Griffin, Lance Eugene Cleghorn, EZ Cleghorn, Heath Taylor Hair, Haven Taylor Hair, Clint Baugham, and Jake Baugham; and five great grandchildren.
