Hubert Eugene "Tee" Taylor

Hubert Eugene Taylor, aged 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, in Macon. Born on January 22, 1945, in Knoxville, Tennessee, he was the beloved son of the late Hubert W. Taylor and Lennie Ann Shubert Taylor.

Hubert was a man of honor and pride, having served his country in the United States Air Force as a dedicated Vietnam veteran. His commitment continued as he transitioned into civil service at Robins Air Force Base, where he excelled as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic.

Following a distinguished career, Hubert retired from Robins Air Force Base but did not stop contributing to his community. He took on the role of an Industrial Electrician, showcasing his expertise and commitment to excellence.

Hubert also enjoyed Harley-Davidson motorcycles and guns.

In addition to his parents, Hubert was preceded in death by his son, Dwayne Taylor, and brother, Eddie Taylor.

Hubert is survived by his children, Randy Taylor of Warner Robins and Kimberly Taylor, of Rentz; grandchild, Cassidy Taylor, and siblings, Larry Taylor, Port St. Lucie, Florida; Ronnie Taylor and Jeff Taylor, of Knoxville, Tennessee; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be Friday, December 1, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
