Hugh ''Steve'' Lynch

Hugh ''Steve'' Lynch, 58, entered into rest on Monday, February 13, 2012.

Steve was born on February 24, 1953 in Griffin, Georgia. He was actively employed in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base where he worked as a planner. Over the years, Steve had been very active with the Second Baptist Church Bomber's Softball Team and was more recently a coach for Upward Basketball. A tireless community servant, he volunteered his time to various organizations. He will be greatly missed as an uncle and friend. His parents, Hugh G. Lynch and Mary B. Reid Lynch; sister, Cynthia Lynch Smith; and nephews, Hugh and Eric Marney, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his dear friend, Shelby Calhoun, Warner Robins; niece, Michelle Tabor, Bonaire; and nephew, Scott Marney, Baltimore, Maryland.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Reverend Mike Slade will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests donations be made to donor's favorite charity.
