Bo Tedders, 68, entered into rest on Saturday, March 12, 2011.
Born on January 14, 1943, in Milan, Bo graduated from Telfair County High School in 1961. He then graduated from the Macon Barber School and worked as a barber for 25 years, the last ten at Lidford's Barber Shop. He subsequently was employed by the State of Georgia Department of Motor Vehicles. At his retirement two years ago, he was Chief Examiner. A fan of Bill Elliott, he owned a Limited Edition Bill Elliott Mustang. He was a member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his parents, Hugh Dorsey Tedders and Mellie Williams Tedders, and brother, Kennon Tedders.
His memory will forever be treasured by his devoted wife of 41 years, Martha Fisher Tedders, Bonaire; son, Burton Tedders, Cochran; step-sons, Jim Haynes, Bonaire, and Lee Haynes, Warner Robins; seven grandchildren; and brother, Edward Tedders, Warner Robins
Visitation will be Monday, March 14, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Sandy Valley Baptist Church, the Reverend Phil Bryant officiating. Interment will be in Milan Cemetery, at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2011. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the WRALL Challenger division, P.O. Box 6252, Warner Robins GA 31095.
