Hulette Thames Minchew

Hulette Minchew, 91, entered into rest on Friday, December 8, 2017.

Hulette was born on January 2, 1926 in Fort Valley, Georgia to the late Willard and Alice Giles Thames. She is also preceded in death by her son, Milton Minchew, III and brother, Ellis Thames.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband Milton Minchew, Jr.; son, Calvin Minchew (Brenda); daughters, Alecia Cross (Allen) and Nancy Foster (Jimmy); nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, December 11, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Avondale Baptist Church with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. Afterwards, Mrs. Minchew will be laid to rest in Avondale Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Hulette Minchew to Avondale Baptist Church Cemetery Fund at 6970 Cochran Field Road, Macon, GA 31216
