A beautiful life left this world too soon. Hunter Jeanette Peavy Harker, age 26, passed away unexpectedly on November 10, 2020. A lifelong resident of Houston County, she was born to Terry Nelson Peavy and Billie Ann Peavy on May 12, 1994.
Hunter was a member of the first graduating class at Veterans High School in 2012. She received her associates degree from Georgia Military College and was close to finishing her bachelors degree from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville. She was a project coordinator and designer for The Dent Guys in Warner Robins. Being an artist was in her blood and she was gifted as evidenced by her drawings.
When she wasn’t drawing, Hunter was a social butterfly. She was outgoing and loved talking to people. She never met a stranger. She was a member of a private stock hunting club where she attended many gatherings with her friends. Hunter’s church family was the Ekklesia of the Word. Her greatest love was her family. She loved to spend time with her relatives at family events, reunions and Christmas.
Those who are left behind to treasure this memory of Hunter are her loving parents; sisters, Erica Hope Getrum (Rich) of Flowery Branch, and Shannon Danielle Peavy of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; as well as many, many uncles, aunts and cousins.
