Inez Jones Broome

Inez Jones Broome, 84, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 3, 2009.

Ms. Broome was born on November 19, 1924 in Stringer, Mississippi. She retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base working in Procurement. A former member of Green Acres Baptist Church, she attended First Baptist Church of Centerville. Her parents, George Jones and Esther Ainsworth Jones, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Carl Mucher; daughters, Sarah Jackson and Suzette Brown, both Macon; step-sons, Ron Mucher, Los Lunas, New Mexico, Gary Mucher, Warner Robins, and Brad Mucher, Dublin; step-daughter, Sharon Smith, Warner Robins; sisters Merle Fall and Willie Faye Smith, both Jackson, Mississippi; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 4, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2009 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Dr. Ray Gentry officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Heart of Georgia Inpatient Hospice, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry GA 31069.
