Iris White

Iris White, 56, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2003, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, at Faith Assembly of God with interment following in Parkway Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1544, Warner Robins, GA 31099-1544.

Born in Kinard, Florida, Mrs. White lived in Bonaire for over 25 years. She was a graduate of Southeastern College of the Assemblies of God in Lakeland, FL, and taught for many years at Christian Life School. She currently worked as the secretary for Faith Assembly of God, where she was a member. She was also the Women’s Ministry Leader and Church Treasurer and was active in the Choir, Music Ministry, and Adult Sunday School. Her father, Laymon Roy Weathermon, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Omer White, and sons, Bradley White and Patrick White, all of Bonaire; mother, Beatrice Weathermon, Panama City, FL; four brothers, L. R. Weathermon, Tallahassee, FL; Harvey Weathermon and Lamar Weathermon, both of Panama City, FL; and Doug Weathermon, Stapleton, AL; and two sisters, Cheryl McNeil, Dallas TX, and Dolly Hagans, Shreveport, LA.
