Irma B. Kelly

Irma B. Kelly passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the age of 75. Born and raised in Ariton, AL, she was the daughter of the late Harry M. and Annie B. Bishop. Irma graduated from Dudley-Hughes High School and worked her way through college at Mercer University. In her working years, she enjoyed serving as the librarian of the Mercer Law Library, at a law office, and most recently at Wal-Mart.

She is survived by her children, Shawn Kelly (Sharri) and Leeann Wachtel (Rhett); three grandchildren; siblings, JoAnn Connell, Evelyn Jump, Doris Robinson and Debbie Johnson; three nephews; and five nieces.

A memorial service celebrating Irma’s life will take place on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
