Ivolene B. Rainey, 81, entered into rest on Sunday, May 6, 2012.
Mrs. Rainey was born on June 3, 1930 in Thomaston, Georgia. She was a loving wife, mom, and ''Muv'' to her grandchildren. A faithful member of New Hope International Church, Mrs. Rainey enjoyed time spent with family, and traveling, especially to the beach. Her parents, George Paul and Myrtice Paul; and brother, Richard Paul, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of fifty-four years, Roy Rainey, Warner Robins; her adoring children, Lisa Poole (Jeff), Kathleen, Gail Holley (Ronnie), Bonaire, and Tim Rainey, Warner Robins; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Fallin, Riverdale, Georgia and Linda Dees, Newnan, Georgia; and brother, Bobby Barfield, Jonesboro, Georgia.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at New Hope International Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Bishop Jeff Poole will officiate. The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to New Hope International Church, 204 Sullivan Road, Fort Valley, GA 31030 or to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
