Jack L. Clark, 80, departed for Heavenly home Friday, October 14, 2011.
Mr. Clark was born September 26, 1931 in Roberta. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Army. He later worked in civil service as an Aircraft Scheduler before retiring from Robins Air Force Base. He cherished being the Bailiff for Houston County Sheriff Department. He attended Bonaire Methodist Church for fifty years and was a member of Byron United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Homer Lee Clark; and mother, Claire Burnette.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Mariana Walton Clark, Byron; children, Nikki Easler, Byron, Deb Prescott, Lawrenceville, Bonnie Clark, Byron; siblings, Bobby Clark, Margeret Bazemore, both of Byron; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; son-in-law and his wife, Jackie Prescott and Marie Prescott.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Byron United Methodist Church, Pastor Baxter Hurley officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Fort Valley. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Road PMB # 359, Macon GA 31210.
