Jack Ray Geise, 80, entered into rest on Sunday, August 25, 2013.
Mr. Geise was born on August 5, 1933 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Larry and Marjorie Geise. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force and worked at NASA training astronauts during our nation's "Race to the Moon". His career took him all over the world, including Alaska, Turkey, Japan, and Germany. He continued service to his country in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base as an Electrical Engineer until his retirement. A handy man, he enjoyed all types of repair jobs and enjoyed spending time on his computer. In addition to his parents, two sisters, Barbara Reason and Kay Rhodes, all preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife of fifty seven years, Margarete Atzesberger Geise; Warner Robins, Georgia; daughters, Tara Widener (Mark), Atlanta, Georgia; Sylvia Bauccio, Holbrook, New York; sister, Carolyn Brown, Anderson, Indiana; brother, Larry Geise, Springport, Indiana; grandchildren, Sarah Margaret, Meredith Grace, Frances Maria, Michele Lynn, Laura Marie; four great grandchildren, Ashley, Thomas, Vincent, and Alexis.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will greet visitors following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, One Corporate Square, Atlanta, Georgia 30329.
