Jack William Wilbanks

Jack William Wilbanks, 62, entered into rest on Sunday, December 8, 2013.

Jack was born on March 5, 1951 in Macon, Georgia. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Jack retired from Robins Air Force Base where he worked in civil service as a Sheet Metal Mechanic. A tireless community servant, Jack was a member of Southern Cruisers Riding Club Ocmulgee 556 Chapter. He enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles as well as working on and racing go-carts. He was most passionate about spending time with his family, especially coaching his grandchildren in football. Jack was preceded in death by two siblings, Mike and Alva Wilbanks.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife of forty-two years, Judy Walker Wilbanks, Warner Robins; parents, Jimmie R. and Doris J. Wilbanks, Sylva, North Carolina; children, Juanita Barfield (Lee), Warner Robins; Jennifer Wilbanks (Kelley Jones), Danville; grandchildren, Crystal and CJ Barfield, Dewayne and Jack Jones; and great grandchild, Hannah Hester.

The family will greet friends from 3:00 until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
