Jackson Hallman Bryant, 3, joined the angels in heaven on, Saturday, April 16, 2011.
Jackson was born on October 5, 2007, in Macon. A tough little guy; Jackson fought a courageous battle with a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer. He loved his mommy and daddy so much and he will always be their pride and joy. Jackson enjoyed spending time with his family, his pets, drawing, painting, and riding in his Lightning McQueen car. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Maynard D. Hallman, maternal step-grandfather, Edwin H. Atwood, III, and aunt, Kathryn M. Hallman.
He will forever live in the hearts of his mommy and daddy, Elizabeth "Betsy" Hallman Bryant and Ashley Cameron "Cam" Bryant, both of Macon; maternal grandmother, Nancy M. Atwood, Rochester, NY; paternal grandmother, Donna Bryant, Byron; paternal grandfather and step grandmother, Mack and Barbara Bryant, Lizella; aunts and uncles, Kevin and Jill Bryant; James M. Hallman (Mary J. Garfield), William M. and Jeanne E. Hallman, Nancy B. and Kevin J. Stone; cousins, Lindsey and Hannah Bryant, Michael and Matthew Hallman, Hannah Garfield, Michael Mendolera, and Andrew and Emily Stone; his sweet and loyal dogs, Casper and Sally, and sweet kitty cat, Yogi.
Visitation will be Monday, April 18, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Riverside United Methodist Church with interment following in Riverside Cemetery. The reverend Steve Waldorf will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the Jay's Hope Foundation, 1157 Forsyth Street, Macon, Georgia, 31201-7452.
