Jacqueline "Jackie" Louise Heimbach

February 26, 1933 — May 15, 2021

Jacqueline "Jackie" Louise Heimbach, 88, of Olney, Illinois passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 15, 2021. She was born on February 26, 1933 to the late Elmo Miller and Mildred (Hyso) Barker in Stroud, Oklahoma.

Jackie was cherished and fiercely loved by her entire family for many reasons. When she stepped into a room her presence was known because of her lively spirit. She was a wonderful, funny, extremely animated woman that couldn't get enough of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with family playing Yahtzee to the point of wearing down dice marks on the table. Jackie loved making memories, whether that was being at the lake, or going antiquing with her daughters. She was very honored to be the spouse of a military officer, proud of her country, and was of the Catholic faith. Jackie and her late husband Hank had an incredible, loving relationship that was cherished and unlike many marriages, they adored each other!

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Harlen "Hank" H. Heimbach; their infant daughter, Belinda Heimbach; and all of Jackie's siblings.

She is survived by her children, Tommy Miller (Sherry), Harlen Heimbach (Kim), Robin Redman (John), Dena Williams (Jimmy), and Teresa O'Brien (Larry); an abundance of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her and she will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at The Farmhouse at McCullough Funeral Home. Pastor Tim Ferrell will be officiating. After the service, she will be lovingly laid to rest beside her beloved husband at the Georgia Veterans Cemetery in Milledgeville in a private ceremony.
