Jacquelyn “Jackie” Ann Malicke Curl, 85, entered into rest on Friday, November 10, 2023.
Jackie was born on September 26, 1938, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to the late John Frank Malicke, Jr. and Gwendolyn Mae Bates Malicke. A devoted wife and mother, Jackie loved spending time with her family; she especially loved being “Nena” to her grandkids. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In her free time, Jackie enjoyed a variety of interesting hobbies such as cake decorating, ceramics, collecting angels, and bird watching the bird feeder outside her window. The loss of her presence will be deeply felt by all those who loved her.
In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Kasey Rideout Pedersen, and Geoffrey Matthew Rideout.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Roy Jack Curl; children, Bill Harn (Diana), Gwen Harn Rideout (Jeff), Ronald Curl, Melissa Curl Walker, Matt Curl (Tiffany); grandkids, Justin Harn (Lindsey), Chris Walker (Liz), Jennifer Rideout Weaver (Matt), Jessica Rideout Smith (Tanner), Jincy Curl Wallace (Scott), Danny Harper (Toria), Haleigh Long, Trevor Warren, Brionna Walmer, Trenton Walmer, Phillip Meredith (Sabrina), Garland Meredith, and Ashley Meredith (David); sisters, Marilyn Egbert and Elaine Henke, both of Boise, Idaho; her dog and constant companion, Cuddles; along with 15 great-grandchildren and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 12, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
