James C. Wheeler, 72, entered into the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, September 9, 2015.
James was born on October 28, 1942 in Batesville, Mississippi to the late Jesse Wheeler and Viola Holman. He was a member of New Life Worship Center and a former minister of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Cary, North Carolina. James proudly served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He was a senior member of the Civil Air Patrol, Warner Robins Senior Club, and the Ted Wright Club. In his spare time James loved fishing and spending time with his family.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Cecelia Wheeler of Bonaire; sons, Jerry Wheeler (Kimberley) of Warner Robins, Julian Wheeler (Cynthia) of Hampton, Virginia, Marvin Wheeler of Warner Robins, Maurice Randall of Raleigh, North Carolina, Nicole Randall of Cary, North Carolina, Janine Everett (Robert) of Acworth, Georgia; and 6 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. McCullough Funeral Home. After the service, Mr. Wheeler will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
The family will accept flowers but those who wish may be given in memory of James C. Wheeler to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Ga. 31088.
